You thought frequent flyer miles meant you could fly for free. Well you thought wrong. Delta will now impose a fuel surcharge fee on all frequent flyer award redemptions. This new few will go into affect for award travel booked after August 15th. The fee is $25 for travel between the 50 states and Canada and $50 for international travel.
