During the summer travel season, or for any other travel time, I refer to SeatGuru.com when making my travel plans. It suggests the best seats on every plane on every airline. Sometimes, the exit row seats aren’t always the best. It also has easy to find general airline information such as baggage limits and traveling with pets.
Since I am a fan of this site, I am obviously NOT a fan of AirTran’s new policy of charging $5-$15 extra for you to select your seats. For example, parents and children are randomly booked and can be seated rows apart. I don’t mind paying for food or beverages on a flight, but for seats?
